The African American Cultural Expo and Book Festival is a celebration of cultural arts, community, creativity, and literacy. The expo features music, arts & crafts, storytelling, children's book authors, cultural arts vendors, and fun for the entire family. Grammy-Nominated Children's Entertainer, Author & Educator - Culture Queen is our featured Mistress of Ceremonies. Our 2023 expo, hosted in Silver Spring, MD, garnered over 3000 registrants and attendees. This year, the expo will be held at Capital Clubhouse Arena, Southern Maryland's ultimate recreational complex located in Waldorf, MD. The 90,000 square foot facility sees 400,000 in foot traffic annually. Waldorf, MD (located in Charles County), a thriving community located 23 miles south-east of Washington, DC.
